There is a whole sparring thing with the press in Portugal media by coaches and managers particularly form the top three clubs about media bias, normally against whatever team the coach is from who is being interviewed. The UK football press over here has a little bit of a reputation for being anti-Portugal and critical of Portuguese players and managers, possibly the shadow of the treatment of Ronaldo.
