This is today's development Rape-accused former principal fit for extradition
The backstory is rather jaw-dropping. Kids in Haredi communities are kept so 'pure' that they don't know that sex or romance exist. Even Biggles and the Hardy Boys are redacted. When the kids are abused they have no clue what's happening and don't even know the terms for the body parts which have been touched. Not so different from the Catholics I suppose. But at least you get a sense that progress is being made in Ireland, whereas in Israel the abusers are having new opportunities laid on for them by settlement building. Israel has no sex offenders register, and in some towns there's no policing except for the word of the Rabbi.
