Maintenance for pets?

Magic Sam and I often debate who would get the cats if we ever got sick of each other. We decided we couldn't separate them and neither of us will give an inch regarding custody.

So then I was thinking, 3 cats is quite expensive and I was wondering if the one who didn't get them should help the other with bills and food.

When I split up with my ex husband, he wanted to take Spook and I reluctantly agreed. In the end though he moved into a house with a Rottweiler and didn't think it was such a good idea, so I got to keep both.

It would have broken my heart to give her away, even though she hates me.

Wasn't a problem when i split up with my ex husband. He wasn't fussed about taking either of them and i really wanted to keep them so i did. Never considered asking him to pay anything towards food or owt though.

when i split up with the ex who shared an English Bull terrier with me, I got the dog cos I still lived in me own house. Then there was a slightly acrimonious further bust up that resulted in a dog-napping
