Lunch should have its own thread

that doesn't happen very often!:D

i know :D
made an extra one for somebody who ended up having already eaten sunday dinner before they came over ......

the roast carrots and potatoes were the best i've ever done :)
tempted to make another one tonight... :hmm:
(cheers housemate for the amazing vegetable discovery.)

I bought a greek salad from Waitrose that was reduced to 59p with a toasted wholemeal pitta bread. It was lovely though would not have been at the real price of £1.99..

I had a childs meatballs and pasta microwave meal from ASDA. What is happening to me? I never used to be like this :(

It was absolutely horrid by the way, horrid.

A bought butty - it's supposed to be piri piri chicken with lettuce. It's actually a fucking vile slop with a vague hint of heat, no discernible chicken, and limp lettuce

If I wasn't so hungry it'd be bin-bound

today was a homemade salad with green beans, tuna, red onion and tomato with a oil, sherry vinegar and caper dressing

fucking lush it was but now I reek of vinegar  using up leftovers is ace :D

I'm at work for 13 hours and had brought nothing with me but a quick dash round Morrisons and I ate a small mozzarella and penne pine nut salad and a buttered sage n onion ciabatta roll.

It has reconfirmed that I really don't like the pine nutty thing. Tastes like perfume. Bread was spot on though.

Leftover potato salad (boiled potatoes, watercress, avocado and horseradish and creme fraiche dressing) with a "steak" which isn't a steak at all, it's minced beef and fuck knows what else formed into a steak-shaped patty and covered with peppercorns so you can't tell :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Real bread. I'm having craving for bread that is not the nimble stuff I normally buy. I'm going to Waitrose to choose 2 bread rolls then I'm going to stuff them full of salad.

Working from home today. Made something from leftovers - spinach and jersey royal hash with wild garlic and parmesan cheese, topped with two eggs.

Followed by a few spoonfuls of green and blacks chocolate ice cream  I'm trying to clear some space in the freezer, so it was my duty to eat it ;)
