I have set the clock for 3. But haven't gone to bed yet. So will probably fall asleep at 2.30 and it'd have to be spinning like a gargantuan, water melon, disco ball to get me up 30 mins later.

The moon is so bright right now it's casting strong shadows in the garden

It's light enough to navigate your way outside without a torch.

It's an eerie light, though. Standing trying to take photos in my back garden, and there's all sorts of noises: twigs snapping under the trees,sudden flurries of movement in the leaves.

Damn good question and no idea...i've got a purple wooly hat on and am venturing out to the bench. But it's that time of year when those fat brown spiders make webs all over the garden, so shall resemble a bobble hatted karate kid .

It's still clear in London and I'm definitely seeing a red glow if I expose for the dark bit.
