Pigman's pigman's ha ha charade you are..
Cant be arsed to pick a track if you haven't heard them :p

NME once amusingly and rather rightly said of one of their albums "Take a spoonful of R.E.M, add a spoonful of Nirvana and hey presto you have the latest band jumping on the coat tails of the alternative rock scene :D

Personally I think the first album was crap except for the classic track "Operation Spirit"

The next three albums, Throwing Copper, Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here were awesome and still get regular plays here. After that they ran out of fuel and disappeared back into obscurity.

Saw them support INXS back in the early '90s and went out and bought Mental Jewelery the next day. Played it to death but never bought anything else by them.

It was the first 'date' with quite a long term ex of mine.

I only really remember ‘I Alone’ and ‘Selling the Drama’ which I liked at the time. Haven’t thought about them much since.

They seemed to emerge at the tail end of grunge along with other bands like Candlebox who were all lumped into that genre as it fizzled out.

Lightning Crashes is a beautiful tune. Can't remember much else by them. Vaguely recall they laced their tunes with religious overtones?
Correct. The lead singer is/waa mad about some indian or budhist gurru's scriptures.
