List the songs that mention Welsh place names

Fe aeth yr iâr i rodio,
I Arfon draw mewn dig
A daeth yn ôl un diwrnod
A'r Wyddfa yn ei phig.

which is pretty much the only welsh i know, and is the last part of a kids song that mentions Arfon and Snowdon

Aberystwyth by dr Parry

not a song but a band name - Paddy goes to Holyhead

the union met in secret on the dark side of the hill
by the light of a thousand candles
their pay had been cut, all the people come on out
and by scores they were joining Rebecca
Rebecca! Rebecca!
the people were joining Rebecca
and oh the ironmasters, they always get their way

riot!

ironmaster, call the army
call the hungry from the irish sea
ironmaster, call the parliament
it's no sin to fight to be free!

from the smokey stacks of merthyr
to the hills of Ebbw vale
from Swansea docks to Merseyside and Liverpool
with the union leaders crushed
and the union quickly smashed
they blackend the face of the country
the country! the country!
they blackend the face of the country
and oh the ironmasters, they always get their way

now on a hill in Brecon is Crawshay's ruined house
and it blackens out the green of the valley
and on the battered grave is the epitaph they gave
it stands there, god forgive him!
forgive him! forgive him!
and all who rot in hell with him
and oh the ironmasters, they always get their way

It ignores my every lunge
With the backbrush and the sponge;
I have bombed it with a present from Penarth.
It just rolls into a ball,
Doesn't seem to mind at all,
And simply goes on squatting in the bath.

And, err, "Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Bangor", Fiddlers Dram.

I always thought that song was about the one in Northern Ireland. Maybe because I have lived in the one in Wales. However I was sad enough to Google it and it was "inspired" by a trip to Rhyl, but they used Bangor down the road cos it sounds better with the two syllables.

Half Man Half Biscuit - Lord Hereford's Knob

"Twmpa, Twmpa
You're gonna need a jumper"

Genius.

It gives the OS grid reference as well.

Mardy

* (Dave Rogers)

Oh Mardy oh Mardy
The last pit in the Rhondda

There's mist down in the valley and the snow lies on the hill
No men walk through the empty street the pit lies quiet and still
There's a keen wind down the valley road that bites into your skin
But the people of the Rhondda will keep fighting till they win

When I was small I used to sit down by the fireside
To hear the tales of struggle that would fill my heart with pride
I heard of the evictions back in nineteen thirty-two
When the people of the Rhondda wouldn't let the bailiffs through

They told me of a valley that we'll never see again
When the coalmines found employment for forty thousand men
The anthracite was plentiful down in the Rhondda seam
But the owners wanted closures and economizsng schemes

My father had to fight to earn a living from the mine
If he was here today he'd join us on the picket line
His lungs were full of Mardy dust for that's the price of coal
The dust it took his body but the union gained his soul

The women of the Rhondda are out on the picket line
To stop the Coal Board's closure plan and save the Mardy mine
Fighting for our children and the town where we belong
You'll hear their voices singing, We are women we are strong

I marched with men from Cortonwood and with the Kirsley wives
I've joined the Durham miners like us fighting for their lives
I've stood with lads from Nottingham down on that Orgreave field
And faced the dogs and truncheons and the bloody riot shields

Inconsiderate Parking - Tatty Laces: http://soundcloud.com/inconsiderateparking/tattylaces

All of the Chavs and the Ravers
all the ones lost in the pavements.
We won't let your culture slip away.
All of the fucked and the faithless
clingin' on to tatty laces.
We can't let your culture slip away.
This is a homage to the raggamuffin'-big-nuthins.
A big-up to the take-away-tray-generation.
Harry met Sally,
in a nightclub in Newport.
Down chippy alley,
was a world that we all thought was wrong...
... but it's "all right on the night" yeah!
Where are the hungriest-junglists
who only wanna get pissed?
And big-little town's
ups and downs
just for multiple rounds
with the clowns?
Did you ever see the DJ look so down?
All of the Chavs and the Ravers
all the ones lost in the pavements.
We won't let your culture slip away.
All of the fucked and the faithless
clingin' on to tatty laces.
We can't let your culture slip away.
Daisy chains
pursuing fame
who used to live in Pentrebane;
the only way to make a name
was singin' in Womanby lane.
It was always 'tunes up in the stars'
now it's chasing girls in bars.
But the same old faces are still at large,
bouncin' on the neon-tar.
Baby blue tracksuit - release me from this acne,
Dragon Taxis - pick me up from Llanrumney,
St Mellons to Ely - put your hands up if you feel me.
All of the Chavs and the Ravers
all the ones lost in the pavements.
We won't let your culture slip away.
All of the fucked and the faithless
clingin' on to tatty laces.
We can't let your culture slip away.
All the nutters and space-cakers,
'alf and 'alf munchers and wasters.
Please don't let the city get you down.
All dealer types and money makers,
local characters 'repping' Cathays, cause
you're the only interestin' people in this town.
You're the only interestin' people in this town.

Another old HMHB one. I love you because (you look like Jim Reeves)

Knock knock, who’s there?
The patron saint of Llandudno
The patron saint of Llandudno who?
Tony Bastable!

Abergavenny by Marty Wilde

Taking a trip up to Abergavenny
Hoping the weather is fine
If you should see a red dog running free
Well, you know he's mine

A chase in the hills up to Abergavenny
I've got to get there and fast
If you can't go
Then I promise to show you a photograph

Ah, passing the time with paradise people
Paradise people are fine by me
Sunshine forever, lovely weather
Don't you wish you could be...

Taking a trip up to Abergavenny
Hoping the weather is fine

If you should see a red dog running free
Well, you know he's mine

Ah, passing the time with paradise people
Paradise people are fine by me
Sunshine forever, lovely weather
Don't you wish you could be...

A chase in the hills up to Abergavenny
I've got to get there and fast
If you can't go
Then I promise to show you a photograph
A little photograph, a lïttle photograph
Up to Abergavenny...

La-la-la-la...
