this is sometyhing i've never bothered with before, usually full of shit music but this issue has Crass and Motorhead and both interviews are done brilliantly.

I like the crossword, but the rest is usually unintelligible for me. I might send in my band's demo, but I'm scared they'll be really nasty about it because we're not post-post-speed-dubstep-thrash.

Yeah, the new format and the (mostly) more readable typeface are a big improvement. And this edition is funnier than any I've read before - it reminded me of how the NME used to be (before most of you lot will remember). I've always preferred Loud and Quiet but this month Stool Pigeon pisses on it.
