Nice one Malcolm, it was a great night. Tamsin and Equinox were both incredible, and she had a right laugh too. Nice when all the guests have so much fun

We used to do Interlight and Siege Mentality (a mixture of music by DJ's from www.purple-radio.co.uk, again all vinyl) every month, but now we only get the venue once a month so it alternates. Next Interlight will be November.
We had a good run of doing both for about 3 years (not bad for any night ime) but last year we had some trouble with some local lads using our night to settle some scores with each other and one of the little fuckers headbutted the bouncer. Then this year we had a guest MC who got himself into trouble, was well out of order, and had to be dropped quick and that blotted our copybook a little bit with the management, unfortunately.
It was a shame because we've built the night on a real love of music and no ego DJ nonsense, but now that seems to be behind us again and the crowd has really started reflecting that. Loads of jungle DJ's and promoters pass through now to say hello and have a nice time, we had some from Kool and also D'extrous in there last Friday, it was packed out.
There are some luxury flats being built opposite, you can bet once they're up the residents won't want us lot banging it out til 5am any more, so Andrea is already looking for a new venue.

Straddling that 92/93 sound between hardcore and proto jungle... this track was always overshadowed by the other tunes on the EP - but sold my copy tonight and it still gets me grinning!

That's the last Interlight of the year
We're doing a Purple Radio night up there on Saturday 14th December but that's all sorts of music.
