Your answer bears zero relation to the question asked. Please try again.
Their music was commercially successful because his repertoire featured 5-carat rock, with emotion and folk roots, along with the inherent nods to the dreampop / shoegaze of the first album.
If MBV, Slowdive and Cocteau Twins did not have a worldwide impact, it was because they did not have the best female rock vocalist of the last 30 years

You're like the Jehovah's Witness of music fandom.

I did say ok...no worries.
And I was not the person who brought them into this thread.

I do note that plenty other people have brought up the band in a derogatory way in other threads that were not about the band.

And this is why you're a bit of a tit... as you know we are not the same person.
They always do the same. They mention the band and then accuse that you only talk about the band when you reply to them.

If you answer them it is wrong because you talk about the band, and if you don't answer them you are a coward

Wtf is ‘five carat rock’? It sounds awful. Which is appropriate considering

The spice girls were way better than the Cranberries. The 'Spice' album alone sold over 23 million copies.

You've got to admit that there are similarities. You're both obsessed with the same band, and both take offence at anyone who dares to criticise them in any tiny way.
Perhaps that should make you reflect on whether the English were fair to this legendary band, which in the rest of the world except the UK is considered among the best in Rock History

Thinking about it, one of the Beatles got to do a bit on a fairly alright but not really that great Kanye/Rihanna single, and there's no evidence that Lennon ever managed that, so I'm going to score him as crap at getting to do a bit on a Kanye/Rihanna song. He was admittedly not crap at having a kid who would go on to do bits on both Soulfly and Lana Del Rey songs, but unfortunately the LDR song with his kid on it is absolute dogshit so it can't really be said to make up for his failure in the Kanye/Rihanna round. Not listened to Soulfly for a very long time so I don't know how his son's contribution to that reflects on him.

(Apologies for dragging this thread off-topic with a non-Cranberries related post.)

I'll admit that when c addict first turned up, I wondered if Sugar Kane might perhaps have enlisted some support from the C berries fan club or something, but they're clearly different posters.
