BBC 1 Extra visited Tuff Gong Studios as part of the 50 years celebration. This is worth a watch and dont be put off by Elephant Man killing Half Pints classic in the first few minutes!

Yo it's me again.

Not a natural Beenie Man fan, but thought his cover of Everything I Own was spot on (despite the slightly suspect runny nose )

Capleton's version of Raggy Road was great too.

Great watch this.....

The Roaring Twenties and Columbo's
The Roaring Twenties was a London nightclub in the 1960s which played R&B and ska reggae.. The first DJ was Count Suckle, who was followed by Duke Vin and Lloyd Coxsone. Later it was called Columbo’s, with Coxsone continuing there with Denzil Exodus, before the club closed in the early 1980s.
For Carnaby Echoes, legendary DJ Lloyd Coxsone, who played at the Roaring Twenties in the 60s and 70s, returned to the basement of what is now a Ben Sherman shop with a sound system and playlist related to the club. He was joined by Denzil Exodus, Mikey Foreigner and others. The film also includes extracts from interviews with Count Suckle, who started the club in 1961, and Island Records artist Tony Washington, who was a frequent visitor.
