It's starting... "Deregulation, cutting red tape"

I am disappointed but not surprised that you seem to see only "bad shit" coming from brexit, no possibility of something good emerging. Yes, this has made clear divisions within society and there is atm 'no kind of coalition for change away from neoliberalism': which is why the task for socialists and anarchists, among others, is to work towards exploiting the situation to fight for positive change. It's not going to be handed out on a plate, you know.

I suspect some people would far rather eveything go to shit just so they can prove how right they were

Are you going to organise? Or can we just expect a lifetime strop now from the Remainers, with everything bad blamed on the thick racists and anything positive undermined?
On here, I'm going to say when I think an idea is wrong, and why. Nothing to do with blaming thick racists (which I have not once done btw - you can fuck the fuck off with that) - just the idea that a leave vote could make everything worse, which I have been voicing for months. Not a strop. Just a pretty depressed and depressing view of how things are panning out so far.

The head of the CBI has said the Government should scrap the surcharge on banks’ profits and take the financial sector “off the naughty step” to secure the City’s status after Brexit.

Carolyn Fairbairn told the Financial Times that ministers should “prioritise competitiveness” and change the mandate of City regulators to make sure they take into account the UK’s attractiveness compared to competitors overseas.

“It’s time for banks to be taken off the naughty step. This is about sending a signal that a chapter is over,” she said.

Those poor bankers, they are so abused and so sorry for fucking us over.

Race to the bottom, deregulate it all so we'll "remain competitive"

Nah. Give them double their usual workload in their supervised corrective labour on each anniversary of the revolution.

No, that's just Stalinist :(

Give them double their usual workload on Labour day, a celebratory treat from the zero-hours contract they'll normally be on as they walk the commute from the wonderful conditions of one of today's a high-rise sink estates.

Forced labour predates the so-called building of socialism. In a Soviet context the Stalinists inherited and expanded/further developed such machinery.

He was also sent to Kazakhstan for being a participant in a failed attempt to oust Krushchev over de-Stalinisation. Quite a light punishment.

Controversial plans for the military to opt out from the European convention on human rights (ECHR) during future conflicts will be introduced by ministers, to see off what the prime minister described as an “industry of vexatious claims” against soldiers.

The long-mooted idea will be announced on Tuesday at the Conservative party conference by Theresa May and the defence secretary, Michael Fallon, although it was immediately criticised by human rights groups who said it was based on a false narrative of spurious lawsuits.

Plan for UK military to opt out of European convention on human rights

Those damn rules, far to many of them, lets just shoot people.

More monoculture farming/destruction of animal environments in hedgerows etc beckons:

"Elsewhere in her speech, Ms Leadsom promised a bonfire of regulations after Brexit takes place.

She said the Government wanted to scrap the requirement for farmers to put up billboards to draw attention to the European Union’s funding for their farms, ditch the “ridiculous, bureaucratic three-crop rule” that forces larger farms to grow a variety of crops, and simplify definitions to end “existential debates to determine what counts as a bush, a hedge, or a tree”.

“By cutting the red tape that comes out of Brussels, we will free our farmers to grow more, sell more and export more great British food – whilst upholding our high standards for plant and animal health and welfare,” she said.
