People just happened to choose the court building and the Apple store to attack. But it was still just mindless violence, with no sense of picking legitimate targets. Just thugs who like violence, not in any way people who are fucked off with the system. Look away capitalism, nothing to see here.

It's a question of perspective.
I am assuming that, for people like TomUS, the availability of consumer objects of desire is far more important than the destruction of civil liberties, structural racism and sexism, the oppression of people who couldn't imagine buying anything in an Apple store in their wildest dreams, and a total - some might say wilful - ignorance of the desperate path that the United States is currently going down.
Yeh, but no, but yeh, but a bit of vandalism is the vanguard of the Apocalypse, not heavily armed robocops dragging people into unmarked vans, or slightly-less-armed cops kneeling on people's necks until they die, or maybe just shooting them in the back. Not unarmed peaceful protesters being gassed, or the nation's president boasting about how he likes to grab pussies or screw his own daughter, not an endless revolving door of decreasing competence in White House staff, not racist claims about the origin of Covid-19, nor the equally racist efforts to whip up hatred against the "enemy without", whether that's those damn Muslims coming in here, or those damn Mexicans trying to come in here.
But no. What it's really about is making sure that an alleged 75 people (
I thought those places had only 3 staff in them at any given time, and one of those had to wear a man bun) can carry on selling baubles to people whose priority is having a better mobile phone than their colleague rather than, oh, I dunno, paying rent or trying to make sure there's enough food on the table. Or maybe not getting shot by a cop on the way home from buying said food.
