Irish curry sauce

Bedford. No.

Chip shops have only one variety of curry sauce. called curry sauce. This is in spite of/ because of Bedford having far more Indian restaurants than almost any town of its size.

I hope you map the responses to this thread.

Asda used to sell it :hmm:

think Morrison do as well

saying that their is a few Irish butcher in Harrow and Hammersmith that will stoxk it

I'm surprised because I've been past that place many times and had never clocked it was Irish. Also had no idea 'Irish curry sauce' was even a thing until this very thread. I'm surprised and confused all round tbh.
we'll have to have an urban outing to investigate further. marty21 will be in charge, no doubt

Hadn't come across it before in Bristol until going to Fintans Fish and Chip Shop in Llanishen, Cardiff last year, where they had the choice of all three.

A few places in Vancouver do it (Irish pubs). Problem is you can’t get decent chippy chips here because they don’t have the big fryers that UK/Irish chippers have.
