In the end I did, on the grounds that I needed to send my postal vote in and there has been no sign of the Greens on Angell Town, not even a leaflet. Helen Hayes may be all mouth and no trousers but at least she admits we exist. Shame.
Hang on, are you not involved in that group that's campaigning/standing candidates against Labour? You posted a load of stuff about it?

Yep. However there wasn't anybody willing or able to the a candidate in Dulwich and West Norwood. So it's Labour or Green here. If the Greens are going to stand paper candidates in all but 4 constituencies and not even send leaflets to inner city council estates why should I even consider voting for them. They can't represent me if they completely ignore my existence.

Erm okay. Do you think Labour sending you a leaflet means they'll be representing you?

No I don't. However the fact that Helen is on the estate every few months at least shows she knows we exist, even if she does damn all for us. I told the Green candidate back in March that if I got a leaflet or saw a campaigner on the estate he would get my vote. Not a sausage. They need to learn the lesson that it isn't only white middle class people who would consider voting for them. I've seen more effort here from the RCP than the Greens.

I can't work up any enthusiasm for politics - especially in the current circumstances, but in Bristol East it seems to make sense to vote Green - Bristol seems to be on a roll at the moment .. with my old MP Thangham Debonnaire quite likely to lose Bristol Central ...
Thanks to Urban for posting that Kerry McCarthy apparently abstained on a Gaza ceasefire motion and I'm a bit fed up with my street's Labour Activist's fan posters of Starmer ...
Due to geography, the Tory doesn't stand a chance here so it's not a very brave move and I doubt I'll stick a poster in the window ...
Googling the candidate Ani Stafford-Townsend reveals no embarrassing anti-science nonsense...

According to the article, they did return it.
Yes only after the donor asked for it back. However my point is that that donation would have been a significant contribution to a local campaign .

Starmer’s response to the Guardian 5 days ago is at odds with the don't campaign line .

I wonder what the repulsive TalkTV journalist Isabel Oakeshott (partner of Reform's Richard Tice) makes of her sister's candidacy in the new Bicester, Kidlington and Woodstock constituency?

I'll be voting Green using my EU passport in my safe labour seat and may fly my EU flag at some point tomorrow or Friday ..
My WIFI permanently honours it...

If the Tories get back in HERE after decades, the country is lost.
