HELP required! Bastard noisy ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard fan

I've finally got around to seeing how this thing is supposed to fit and I've lost the will to install it.

I've got to yank the entire motherboard out and even then I can't see how you're supposed to get the shitty fan off. Fucking shit ASUS tossers. Worst motherboard design ever. What should be a simple case of a new fan for £3 has turned into a time-sucking nightmare.

Don't suppose any local tech minded person fancies popping around and being fed tea and cakes to have a go?

Edit: nuff complaining about the fan all over the web. Lots of tips here but it still looks a ton of 'kin hassle.

i think the zalman will fit ok, but that card has got some serious heatsinkage on t'other side

Right now I've got both sides of my PC off and a big house fan blasting through it.

Fucking wanking ASUS arseshafts.

I just pulled all the connections off for everything but my CPU, runs fine but I don't leave my computer running - waste energy and all that.

Finally got around to changing the fan today. 2 hours of my life wasted. Stupid CoolerMaster case threads kept threading so it took me ages to put the cards back in. Taking the fan out was well fiddly too. It all works now and it's finally quiet (no more domestic fan wedged in its side), but I want a new PC.
