The current hasbara meme is, "why don't you ever see photographs of Hamas rocket launchers". As if anyone were doubting that Hamas fire rockets/mortars and as if Israel's PR problems could be cured with a photo of a rocket launcher.

Anyway they've really lost the argument, I don't think anybody takes them seriously now. Far more worrying and prevalent are people explaining American/Western silence/complicity in terms of the influence of the Jewish business elite (or similar themes). Try explaining that Israel is a strategic asset and you come off as an apologist. It is deeply embedded that the state and national institutions are there to act on our interests and when they fail it is because of corrupt politicians and the influence of alien interests. What could be healthy cynicism gets wasted on wild Jew chases. The total failure of Israel's propagandists does not on its own translate into some sort of leftist victory.

That'd be because, in common with mortars, they're launched from innocuous looking tubes and/or frames made out of angle iron.
 
The latest in Israel's propaganda struggle. They know they're losing, so now they're insinuating that Hamas is the same as ISIS. This time it comes in the form of graphics.

Like many other news websites, Common Dreams has been plagued by inflammatory anti-Semitic comments following its stories. But on Common Dreams these posts have been so frequent and intense they have driven away donors from a nonprofit dependent on reader generosity.

A Common Dreams investigation has discovered that more than a thousand of these damaging comments over the past two years were written with a deceptive purpose by a Jewish Harvard graduate in his thirties who was irritated by the website's discussion of issues involving Israel.

His intricate campaign, which he has admitted to Common Dreams, included posting comments by a screen name, "JewishProgressive," whose purpose was to draw attention to and denounce the anti-Semitic comments that he had written under many other screen names.

All this stuff is for the consumption by the faithful whose consciences are eased by any excuse. You are unlikely to have heard the IDF's justifications as they aren't wildly circulated and most media outlets don't touch them. But still, just look at the twists and turns in that, continually updating the story to fit the latest fabrication.

Yeah, it's important to remember that the target of a lot of this propaganda is not you - it's supporters who might be having doubts, who have a far lower threshold. This is why so much appears so bizarrely unbelievable that you wonder how they can even say it.
 
Did anyone see the BBC panorama called war in the tunnels? Or something like that. Was pretty :facepalm: at times with the same old usual bollocks about Hamas seizing power rather than being democratically elected and so on. They made out the Hamas leader admitted the kidnapping of the three teens were carried out by Hamas cells. If that's true then it's a new admission but they just cut to him saying 'yes we did it' although him saying 'yes we did it' could've meant anything.
