Government blind eyes over 4 billion of malfeasance

See this thread -

And we are supposed to get worked up about about a dead man walking"s 10minute birthday party?
Most of us can get worked up by more than one thing. There's this, there's the parties, there's the lying about the other parties, there's a tsunami of reasons to hate this government and everyone in it. And I'm sure there's a thread where this has been under discussion for some time already.

Cheers but needs it own theead less losing 4 billion becomes de rigueur

It's more than £4bn

Much much more

And it's been discussed on other threads

Or is there something particularly special about this £4bn?

Wasn't stolen by the poor so doesn't count.

Hard earned graft rather than a few extra quid of benefits so it can be written off.

Made the front page of the Telegraph and rest of media has been reasonably on it tbf.

At the very least, contender for Outstanding Parliamentary speech of the week.

Meanwhile I'm being chased by HMRC for a few hundred quid in 'falsely claimed' self employed support payments on the grounds that I didn't make any money from self employment during lockdown. Which I kinda thought was the whole point of the payments.
