Gordon Jackson perhaps most famous for his roles in the professionals and upstairs downstairs but his early work eg whisky galore, millions like us, and death goes to school offer another side to the great glaswegian. Which of his pre-great escape appearances do you rate highest?

He certainly stood out as 'man in small orchestra' in 1943's "Women Aren't Angels'

He played minor roles in some classics: Powell & Pressburger's One of Our Aircraft is Missing (1942), the TV series of The Quatermass Experiment (1953) and in the hard boiler Hell Drivers (1957).
