A newly engaged couple get a flat tyre in the middle of nowhere on a stormy night, and find themselves in a desperate situation. But then they notice a mansion in the distance, and the owner’s somewhat peculiar butler agrees to their request to let them in to use their telephone so they can get help.

This Christmas film got to a point where the main protagonist was suicidal and intent on leaping from a bridge into an icy river. Not very festive! I turned over to a film where a nun becomes governess to a group of children but then leaves to go back to her monastery. Heartwarming. I fell asleep before the end but I think there was a mountain.

A group of youngsters produce an excellent film describing a weekend in the woods debunking an old local ghost story.
