Question Good free torrent sites?

I know it's not what you've asked for but have you had a look at newsgroups lately?

It's a far cry from the old days of par files and missing rars. With Radarr/sonarr/sabnzb etc after a bit of setting up it is massively easier and safer to download. I rediscovered newsgroups last year and haven't looked back, pretty much anything is available and there is no paranoia about getting a love letter in the post about it as there is no uploading for them to track.

I even have an app on my phone which I can share to from IMDB and it will go off and look for the film for me, then automatically import it into plex. It was much less complicated to set up than I thought it would be as well, though it does take some thought.

Is there any way to (relatively) easily download stuff without involving torrents or setting up dedicated software? I'd like to occasionally pick up episodes of TV shows when travelling for work, but our work laptops have all sorts of security on them and I don't want my wrist slapped for installing something dodgy.

I also can use an iPad, but all of the "get torrents on your iPad" tutorials rely on sites that massively restrict what you can download (like <100MB only).

Not without paying or knowing someone with a server you can download from directly.

no need to download stream directly from putlocker. the address changes a lot - i think this is it at the moment? http://www1.putlockerz.io

If I were to use free torrenting, which is probably against the copyright laws, I'd probably still be using thepiratebay.eu which, I'm told, has many torrents including films, books, music, etc, with a vpn.
