IDLES
Orbital (feat Mel C)

Want to see
Soft Play
Sleaford Mods

Just discovered Otoboke Beaver, who played on the park stage. A glorious riot of noise, love them.

I'm watching Mount Kimbie. Like a couple of their songs, but never followed them too closely.

Janelle Monae is good.

Watched whole set:

Confidence Man
Sugarbabes
Jessie Ware
Alogte Oho & his Sounds of Joy
Orbital
Alvvays
Dua Lipa
Mdou Moctar

Watched some of set:

Janelle Monae
Steel Pulse
Disclosure
Aurora
Ayra Starr

Want to watch:

Asha Puthli*
Sofia Kourtesis*
Jalen Ngonda*
Justice
SZA (just to have an opinion)

* I haven't found these on the iPlayer- they were all bottom of the bill on the West Holts stage and I'm not sure the film crews were awake to turn the cameras on for them.

There's also a shit ton of stuff in the dance areas I'd love to hear, but I don't expect BBC to be filming those.

Seen and recommend:

Otoboke Beaver
Little Simz
Remi Wolf
Sugababes

Want to see:

Orbital
Squeeze (not on iPlayer?)
Danny Brown
Sampha (not on iPlayer?)
Noname
Confidence Man
Mdou Moctar
Mannequin Pussy

Probably more but I can't remember what else is on iPlayer

For things not on iplayer there on the internets, if you can't find something let me know :hmm:

I’ve watched Confidence Man (twice), Sugababes, LCD Soundsystem (twice), Orbital, Disclosure.

Some of Cyndi Lauper which was awful, some of Fat White Family who are popular on urban but seemed awful to me.

I will probably watch Dua Lipa and Idles at some point as they’ve been raved about.

I will also watch anything not on the above list that was on the West Holts stage, as I’ve found in previous years that the interesting and diverse artists tend to be on here, and if nothing else it’ll likely be something new to discover.

Ones I shall probably watch again -

Fat White Family (the bit where a very sweaty Lias pulls a sandwich from his crotch area, takes a couple of bites, and throws the rest into the crowd might be my favourite Glasto moment this year)

Jessie Ware (probably the best maker of pop music in the world right now)

The Streets

There's a few I've still to watch for the first time.

Never heard of Confidence Man before, enjoyed that cheers. The NME interview made me smile...
I have a soft spot for them. Kinda liked the first LP and 'first class bitch', but not so keen after that.

Didn't know otoboke beaver were on. Knew them from their earlier days when they only did 'golden week' shows. Fun to watch, but I've always felt they were lacking in songs or even hooks.

Looks like there might be a few things to check out on iplayer

Oh. Just watched Confidence Man. Disappointing. They basically don't seem to do any of the songs l like anymore, of the old tracks they only chose to do the ones that I could barely tolerate. Looks like they have fully headed off into a different direction to the side of them that I liked.
