Depends on what they're being worn with, though hubby is VERY not sure about the studs!! I hope they're not for on the bike?? They'll fall off if you have a spill!

Not for on the bike because I sold it over a year ago! To go with jeans. Which I reckon would cover the studs when I'm standing up.

i'm not keen on the grainy leather. then again i seem to remember spending ages polishing my para boots with a hot spoon when i first got them to smooth them down i'm rather partial to the studs though

I'm now watching a pair of Loblan biker boots on ebay...start price is £60 and buy them now for £90.

I didn't get the boots above. They went for £85 in the end but I have just bought a pair for £1.04 on ebay!

Gentlemen: here's the lowest price I've seen for a new pair of yer classic Frye engineers http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FRYE-Engineer..._s_Shoes&var=&hash=item791447fea0#ht_715wt_73 Allowing £30 for duty and VAT, the grand total is £125. In the shops they're over £200 and almost impossible to find.

I have wide feet too - I think I was an F in Clarks' childrens' width fittings. I tried on some Frye engineers at the Natural Shoe Store in Covent Garden and they were a good fit.

Actually, I might go and try some on at natural shoe store. Kinda hate doing that but it's quite a saving
