Game of thrones book to tv comparisons

are you of the opinion that the nights king are two different characters in the book and show?

the night king in the book is the thirteenth commander of the nights watch meaning the wall must have been standing a fair while before the NK showe

i was speculating the other day given the children used terraforming as a defensive weapon, shattering the arm of dorne, what if they raised the wall not to keep the walkers in but the humans out? Bran the builder misunderstanding and modifying an existing geological formation rather than building it from scratch with giant labour

the chronology is off

the pact of the first men was the historical event that dawned the age of heroes and ended the war between the First Men and the Children of the Forest.4000 years of peace followed before the long night where the others first made an appearance, during which time the Last Hero made contact with the children and gained their help driving back the Others,in the process forming the nights watch and work on the wall commenced. Given the long night lasted a generation (20 Years approx) what could have the children considered such a risk during that time frame to build and lose control of the walkers within such a narrow timeframe jeapodising 4000 years of peace.

There's some mad implications in the fact the two other Rangers in benjens ranging party ended up as weights

Firstly two end up serving the others, one the children of the forest, if either party had designs on the corpses why only one/two not all three.

secondly at the point the two resurrected rangers attempt to kill mormont the others have complete surprise, their enemy is totally oblivious to their total existence, why surrender such a tactical advantage unless there was a reason? maybe to lure a warg sensitive individual north, the children lure one north with the three eyed crow, the others lure another stark out of castle black by revealing their existance. Although there are already wargs north of the wall, i think its tied in with them being either royal blood thus more potent or relevent as they can both draw their heritage from bran the builder who warded the wall.

thirdly having breeched the childrens sanctuary and killed hodor, meera and bran manage to escape, where can they go, south to the wall,if as has been demonstrated now bran has been touched by the nights king that has implications for the wall

Forthly in the books there's evidence
Coldhands and more specifically his eye pecking Ravens have been picking off nights watch Rangers, clearly cuddly uncle benjen is up to no good

also why have the Nights Watch forgotten protocol about burning corpses and bringing bodies beyond the wall, they went to the trouble of building a great fuck off wall did no one think to add to the operators manual " WARNING! bring back dead bodies will invalidate the warranty",the nights watch record things in meticulous detail they know what the nteenth comanders bowl movements were like yet they forgot to add a paragraph at the begining of each lord commanders tenure,"note to self-Must not forget brn bodies-brb need a dump"
