Fully funded/free degrees and postgrad courses?

Yeah... But if I was looking at a PGCE, tbh I'd be interested in it bc of the potential to teach a variety of ages in a hopefully-interesting core topic. If I was teaching 6th formers sociology, I'd feel a bit like that was a cop-out for teaching UGs! That is, of course, my stuff!
gcse at my school starts at age 13. If you took on citizenship / psr too, you'd go down to year 11.
 
if you've got a first degree, then some organisations with a formal graduate training scheme will assist with a masters, e.g. I used to work for an engineering / planning consultancy, and they would take on graduates and assist (I think financially as well as day release) with a masters or professional qualifications.

pretty sure there was a catch in that you then had to stay for X amount of time (2 years?) after that, else they would want money back for this.

this sort of thing may be harder to find at the moment of course.
