I recommend a documentary I saw about the Rome party scene recently, called Roma Illegale. Turns out a bunch of brit ravers turned up there at some point and established some crazy permanent rave space.

Wow- that was great. The way it all fits together was sublime. Loved the way the soundtrack was comprised of known and more obscure Trax. Getting the clearance on all of those must've been a nightmare, but 5 years in the making.

They're trying to make a documentary about Megadog. I know a few of us on here used to attend their events at various locations.

MEGADOG THE MOVIE?
Calling all Dogs!
This year is our 40th anniversary (!!!) and the idea has been floated about making a film to document all the mad adventures we all had starting from the earliest days of Club Dog right through to the Megadogs and festivals at the end of the 90s.
But we need your help!
Do you have any photos, posters, video, film, fliers, diary entires, artworks, tickets or anything else from those heady times? We’re particularly short on photos and video/film from Club Dog in the late 80’s and early 90’s, but any of the above would be interesting to see if you’d like to send it over.
Aaron Trinder the producer/director behind the outstanding recent feature length documentary about the 90’s free party scene and Castlemorton ‘Free Party: A Folk History’ is keen to make this story come to life and would love to see all your long since forgotten (or deeply treasured) Club Dog and Megadog archives.
At this stage the film is entirely independent so there are no guarantees it will happen, but if we can gather enough material together we hope can get the ball rolling. Of course anything used will be fully credited - and fair agreements made with everyone who’s in the eventual film.
