Former players...

Mick Browne now seems to be Michael Browne and is Technical Director for Singapore F.A.

A long way from the day he had to slap green paint over rugby league pitch markings at Hendon FC, ahead of a Tuesday match. A few.Hamlet players got new boots out of Hendon after that match, citing paint damage to boots used as the paint hadn't dried. Mick didn't look too impressed when the Rabble rocked up and helpfully started informing him he'd "missed a bit' and pointing in all sorts of directions.

Luton have just lost their manager. He'd probably have been recalled by any new manager, to have a look at all his squad, anyway tbh.
The loans were due to expire in any case ("early January", according to the club's announcement when they were last extended) and I believe there's a limit to the number of times you can extend a loan for the same player. Both had already been here for 3 months, and Lynch has already been loaned out again to Hemel Hempstead.

I can't help thinking Lynch might do better playing at the back. He's pretty strong for a young lad and doesn't lose many aerial duels, as well as being quick and skilful enough on the floor, but he just never looked like scoring goals.

Horlick is clearly too good for the Isthmian League and ought to have a decent career somewhere from National League upwards.

My mother, who was a secretary at Walworth School, worked with him when he was there as a PE teacher in the 1990s. She once told me an anecdote that he tried to impress the ladies in the school office with his footballing skills by juggling an orange, but lost control and sent it onto someone's desk like something Barnes Wallis would have been proud of, splattering her with tea/coffee. The colleague in question happened to be a regular Hamlet supporter, along with her husband, and from my brief acquaintance with her I'll bet he didn't dare show his face in that office again for a good few weeks! (This was before he became our joint manager with John Ryan.)

Lynch has scored eight minutes into his debut.

Something to pass a frozen evening! Was playing at the Lions Community Centre today and happened to spot this on the wall. A number of former Dulwich players either Academy or First team. Wonder how many you could recognise?IMG_3875.jpeg
