The only highlight of the Hendon game was seeing Jayden.

His departure during the January transfer window seemed to be the most obvious single catalyst for the wheels falling off in the second half of the relegation season. It was so frustrating that any one of numerous marginal factors could have given us the 2 extra goals or single additional point over the course of 20+ matches that would have kept us up. Having said that, I'm enjoying the matches just as much if not more so, now we're back in the Isthmian League. When I look at the National South results I don't find myself thinking "if only we were still there". I'd still like to see us win the league, of course.

Antonio Gonnella (who I believe played 1 or 2 pre season games) will be the new manager of Forest Hill Park, also part of the management team is someone who definitely played for us, his brother Gerry Gonnella.

Antonio Gonnella (who I believe played 1 or 2 pre season games) will be the new manager of Forest Hill Park, also part of the management team is someone who definitely played for us, his brother Gerry Gonnella.

Antonio played 3 league games during the first Gavin Rose season, 2009/10. Gerry must have played about 50 games in total, but was sadly never the same player after a serious knee injury in the 2011 play-off final at Leatherhead, which effectively cost us promotion when we were 3-1 up with only a few minutes to go.
