Looks like Adrian Clifton has joined Hayes & Yeading.

He scored twice in a 3-1 win at Sutton Common Rovers. I think I only ever saw him score twice, and one of those was against us when he was with Hampton!

Ravan Constable played in goal for Rayners Lane in a 2-2 draw at Westfield in the same division. His teammates included Amos Nasha, briefly a Hamlet player during the early National South days, and left winger Kyel Reid, who was an unsuccessful pre-season triallist 3 years ago.

The keeper who played against us suffered a nasty injury on Saturday (the game was abandoned as a result, although it sounds like he shouldn't be out for more than a few weeks) so I guess this could be a mutually convenient short-term arrangement, given Charlie lives over that way.

Danny Waldren, who I thought was getting on a bit when he played for us, continues to perform at this level, scoring for Cray today and almost earnt an away win at Billericay.

Also Alfie Allen a regular starter for top of the table Lewes.

Danny was only 25 when we signed him 9 years ago. He was playing regularly for Croydon Athletic at 16.

Alfie seems to start every game for Lewes, but never plays 90 minutes. I'm pleased he's found a team where he seems to be doing well, as he's clearly talented, but it just didn't happen for him with us. I've been more impressed by Ralfi Hand, who's a couple of years younger, in a similar role.

Maliq Morris came off the bench for Lewes in their win at Bowers & Pitsea tonight, joining Malachi Morris. (I was never sure whether or not they're related.)
