Former players...

York signed Aldershot's best player by meeting his buy out cause last week. If the rumours round here are true the sums involved can fairly be described as throwing money at it next season.

A friend tells me they have seen reports of a recent Q&A at Ayr United online. This suggested the officially undisclosed fee was £250k. It also states there were multiple clubs in for Dipo. York were the first to meet Ayr's valuation.
Sorry, non-league York City are paying £250k for a player (even Dipo)? That is why I am quite happy if we never play in the National League again.

Not many memories from his time at Dulwich apart from that great winner away at Woking. Most of us were resigned to a draw or defeat after Woking's equaliser but then he dribbled right through them and slotted the winner in the corner :)
He also got sent off for a wild tackle in the FA Cup tie at Eastbourne, when we went 4-0 down before scoring 3 in the last few minutes. Even if he's still there at the start of the season, his track record suggests he'll be somewhere else by Christmas.

Anything York can do Ebbsfleet can do better / worse. The rumoured fee to Shots was six figures too.

Panutche Camara has joined Charlton on loan for the season from Ipswich. Would have loved to have seen more of him in a Hamlet shirt.
He was sensational for a few matches at the end of our penultimate Isthmian season. If we'd had him for the following season I'm sure we'd have been champions.

This goal, where he receives the throw, then receives and makes further passes before spinning his marker to score. Sexy football of the silk stockings order!

Absolute filth 😍

Apologies didn't see it'd already be posted, evidently I'm blind aswell as stupid. 🤦‍♂️

I was probably getting a bit carried away in retrospect, but remember thinking he could be our next Erhun - different in some respects, but played the game at his own rhythm and pace to the other players on the pitch.

I thought he was a bit special. He had that languid quality, where one individual seems to slow the whole game to his own tempo, then call the shots.

Pretty sure Reise was at Imperial Fields on Tuesday night - did anybody else see him? (I was in the beer queue and he was a fair distance away, so I may be wrong!)

How were Reise' spells in 19-21? Saw his first super run culminating in the playoff win but moved away and missed his returns.

In my view not great. Lost more than a yard of pace and tbh a bit of confidence (kindly put). One performance in particular away at Dartford had a few of us cursing him which wasn't where we wanted to be...
