Forget Phelps, How About Dana Torres?

Yuwipi Woman

Whack-A-Mole Queen
She's a 41 year old mom, but she's won almost as many medals as Michael Phelps. (A total of 11)

Dana Torres is the oldest person to ever make the American swim team. The accomplishment means Torres will be on her fifth Olympic team.

More than twice the age of some of her competitors, Torres finished first in the 100-meter freestyle, just ahead of Natalie Coughlin.

On the medal stand with her younger daughter, Torres becomes the oldest Olympic swimmer ever.

She gives us over 40s women some hope. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go do some core training....

YW - I ceratinly concur with you about Dara Torres she's did brilliantly to get three silver medals i.e.Women's 50m Freestyle ,Women's 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay, Women's 4 x 100m Medley Relay.

I give her great kudos for competing/beating most of the younger swimmers!
