right... having missed the Crimbo one and bought loads of Rowan in the Liberty sale - I am proposing a New Year's S&B. Quite happy to do it round my gaff. I'm thinking... Monday 9th/Thursday 12th or Friday 13th Jan....

Optional January inspired detox lettuce leaves, hummous and herbal teas....

I've put a poll up to choose the best day. If there's not enough demand for that week of course it could be another time altogether.

At the last one I suggested getting on to sewing this year, and people seemed quite in favour. This would mean we'd need a sewing machine really. (This doesn't answer the question, I know!)

What I WAS thinking is... I'm going to go out and get a new printer/copier machine over the next few days.... we could all bring all our pattern books with us and do a pattern swap and then make copies there and then....

Bring the manual if you've got one - the threading up process is different on different machines.

Yeah, sure! It's a pretty slow process, but it's fun especially for little embellishments and stuff.

Rihgt... it seems that Ms T won't be able to make it Weds either, so I'm going to go for Thurs as there are more votes for that day and then Acechick can bring her sewing machine too!

Look forward to it lots. Apparently I looked a bit under the weather today at work, and one of my colleagues asked me when my next knitting group meeting would be, because he thought that it will cheer me up. Which I thought was rather sweet. But it's true, after all the lovely festiveness that was the stich 'n' bitch and bookgroup christmas I do suffer from a bit of a post-party slump and your company plus wool and wine will sure cheer me up.

I can't make it now, it's my friend's birthday on the friday and she wants everyone to go out on Thursday night I'm sure it makes sense to her, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it.
