Festival Essentials ??

My camping kit has got bigger and bigger. I’m taking a king size duvet and double height air bed. I suspect the duvet won’t be needed but I was freezing at IOW last year.

I’ve just bought the last of my supplies for Boardmasters.

I don’t need cooking stuff as meals are provided.
Ive got:
Lidl gin
Tonic
Morgan’s spiced
Ginger ale
Box of red wine
Haribo
Cereal bars
Breadsticks
Dip
Nuts and raisins
2 packets of pasta and sauce in case I miss dinner.

I cook delicious meals such as Jamaican chicken curry, ostrich Philly, or chicken and cashew nuts and freeze them. Then all I have to do is cook rice.
Bread salad and filings for lunch.
Rum and stuff to make punch
Prosecco.
Buckets x 3 one for wee at night, one for punch and one for strip wash.
Water container
Chairs and rug
Crockery,cutlery,chopping board. Kettle.
Washing up bowl, tea towel, washing up liquid, bin bags.
Areopress, hand grinder and beans, longlife milk and brown sugar.
Eggs
Cereal
Beans
Tomatoes
Cool box
* emegency pvc trousers and boots/ rain poncho.
Make up
Wash stuff/ teeth stuff/ contact lense stuff.
Good book
Torch.
I'm n a camper so my bed and bedding are already there!

Useful thread as I really needed to make a list!

Just checked the self-inflating mats - One Gelert and one Trespass. The Trespass has the integral pillow but I'd say the Gelert is more comfortable due to its material/finish. I use a little blow-up pillow with it.

Remember a festival thread back in the early noughties where someone’s packing list was:

8g of speed = no need to worry about sleeping, eating and shitting for the entire festival :D:D:D:D
My memory had over exaggerated the quantity but here is the post I remembered more or less verbatim from the Glastonbury 2004 thread

My mate had the perfect solution to the triple Glasto horrors of the toilets, camping and the food.
That was to swallow 2g of base speed on arrival on Thurs, thus negating the need to eat, sleep or shit until back home on the Monday.
Worked for him!
