They're alright. Bit too much of a Butthole Surfers tribute act to really do it for me, but YMMV.
Yeah, some truth to that. I saw these guys at the Albert couple weeks ago btw. Quite entertaining in a car crash kinda way.Given the buttholes have been a butthole surfers tribute act since 1991...i shall have to check them out.
How much are they paying you? They're a decent live band FWIW, but nowhere near the greats. At least not yet.yes best live band in the history of London.

No can do tonight. Anyway, I'm happy you like them.nothing i don't even really know them that much but a) they are genuinely the first live band in ohh about 5 years or more where every time i see them i think it is important and b) i am putting on the show of theirs tonight.
it sounds like the Albert gig was fun to see but that musically it wasn't their total best and that is where it hits the peaks! what i am saying is come tonight i suppose.
They categorically said that they 'sounded the best they'd ever sounded' at the Albert.nothing i don't even really know them that much but a) they are genuinely the first live band in ohh about 5 years or more where every time i see them i think it is important and b) i am putting on the show of theirs tonight.

This probably sums them up perfectly. They categorically said that they 'sounded the best they'd ever sounded' at the Albert.
They said it right after the previous song which was the worst they'd ever sounded.

Over a "career" of 100+ gigs played I can't think of a single time when the sound was good on stage as well as for the crowd. Usually shite sound on stage meant good sound out.Tbf - as the sound guy at these things and a sometime musician you'll appreciate how different things can sound on the stage as opposed to in the crowd.

Indeed. Maybe the reverse applied for them that night.
I seem to remember their sound as being OK, but then again I was quite refreshed.Indeed. Maybe the reverse applied for them that night.
Dreadful name for a band.
They must be fucking awesome then! The best bands tend to have the worst names, though.
Thanks. I did my best but with the band constantly knocking things over, swapping mics, changing volumes and sometimes just being too shitfaced to be aware of what they were doing, it was a tough gig to mix.I seem to remember their sound as being OK, but then again I was quite refreshed.
