Essential Trump/Alt-Right Ridicule Thread

This made me chuckle. This is not my experience in UK libraries unfortunately.
It’s not hard to see why US conservatives are going after libraries. There was a US librarian on the Conspirituality podcast recently who said that ‘if libraries didn’t exist, and if someone were to propose the concept of a library today, it would be ridiculed as some woke socialist agenda and shut down immediately’

Did you see this, Pickman's model? :D

Damn right . Using hard working tax payers moneyto spread dangerous ideas like Darwinism. It's the 21st Century (apart from Arizona) book rental ftw 2 tiers with a lower rate for renting books with adverts in them

Don't tell them about Consortia and inter-library loans. That would be full-on Communism to them.

A couple of questions for the MAGA...

1) When did America stop being great?

2) Why wasn´t its greatness already re-established during the years 2017-2021, when Trump was in power?

The Young Turks ask these questions in their vox pop interviews at Trump rallies.
There’s never a coherent answer. Or at least, not one that stands up to any scrutiny.

For example

The whole thing about making America "great", the more you look at it, the less it means. What is the obsession with being "great" and why do you have to be "great"? How do you define being "great"?

It seems to be that whole "team" thing they have over there - the equating politics etc with sports. You have to be on the winning side, you gotta have the best side.

These captions are getting weaker. Surely "It was only some time later that Jesus realised his wallet was now missing"?

Not to mention "Jesus felt the third hand snaking its way around his waist but was too polite to say anything."
I give the best hugs, Jesus. Believe me, everybody says so. People are always telling me, 'Donald, your hugs are tremendous!' So glad you finally get to experience it firsthand.
And Jesus, let me tell you, I've built some incredible things, you wouldn't believe it. My buildings are way taller than any of those old temples. And don't get me started on my followers, they're the best, just tremendous. You've got some competition, let me tell ya!
