Energy tariffs

Hello I am with octopus energy.
I am advised that these price rises are going to affect the flexible tariff more than the fixed tariff
I am inclined to go onto the fixed tariff to save money, but I would like your input, because, while I like octopus, I do not just want to take their advice at face value. I have a few hundred pounds in reserve credit.

I hear there is a freeze on, there is still time before ofgem announce caps in oct.

I’d not do anything until after the announcement today. The October price cap will probably be superseded by the new arrangements.
