Just get a comfy tent and an airbed. The problem with a B&B is getting from the site to it at 2/4/6 in the morning.

airbed??? lightweights!

I had a really sore back (pulled a muscle I think) before this whole adventure, on account of sleeping on a very soft bed - not mine - a couple of nights earlier.

After one night sleeping on the ground the pain was gone...

I think that if you're going camping, using an airbed is cheating :p :p

(yes, yes, yes, I know lots of people had airbeds - note tongue in cheek, before anyone takes this post tooo seriously)

any bug / infection resulting from the weekend has fuck all to do with how hardcore i was AT the weekend. Geek :p

Well being hardcore all weekend affects your immune system fella ;)

Just rest up, hope you're better soon :D

d'you want to share a room? :)

i quite fancy this, it looks like good fun - but my days of sleeping on grass/mud after a long fun mashy day, are well and truly over.

Wehey so you going next year foo ... I'm a great advocate of B&B's, particularly with the full breakfast including toast and marmalade ("Marmalade, I like marmalade"). Camping really makes a festie for me, though, and particularly in the glorious weather we had. I love being able to trot back to the tent if i fancy a bit of a breather or need an extra pully or something. B&B's are a way off at Endorset - I'd try to mug someone for a place in a camper van if you really don't fancy tenting it.

I can sleep in just a bivvy bag on a mountainside, or I can sleep in a huge tent with an airbed

should have posted here earlier but was having tech difficulties posting my photos online.. still haven't found a solution but in the meantime, they can be seen on my f***b**k

it was a great little festival. obviously the sunshine and the chemistry help but the mix of everything else was as good too. and I think the organizers are definitely to be held responsible for that, they set up a very laid back and friendly atmosphere and everything flowed from that.

I will return.

What are the chances of me learning to drive & buying a van before next year? Slim. But I loved some of the vehicles there. And citydreams' van was ace too.

It will be the insuring the van bit that will be the problem ;)

Those solar-shower things look good to me ...anyone ever used one?

Yep i got one last year - only managed to use it a couple of times in good hot sunshine and the water got ... tepid

I think they could do with a large placcy bag over them to give more insulation tbh. I'll be happy to be proved wrong though.

can you and Dub have a race please? A race to learn to drive that is :)

thankyou.

was it just me (and everybody I spoke to) who thought the Undertones were shit?

just about every other band we saw were stunning ... Bison in particular, but so many others ... superb booking

yes.. that festy left me with definite case of van envy and a fair bit of tattoo envy too.

did everybody see the people who were camping in a ship?

Sub Giant were entertaining. Livened things up on the sunday early afternoon. Tragic Roundabout were my favourite of the weekend.
