cant you just jump the fence?

Probably. Bit cheeky to get a lift down with ticketholders & then try smuggle in all my possessions.

Plus it's a campsite & arena type job so I'd need a wristband to get in there each day.

Tell you what though, don't fucking hang about with those megatrain tickets.

The ones I booked have just gone from £8 and £10 for two, to £12 and £17 for two.

I wish i'd seen this a few weeks ago. It's gone up to £22 for two (each way) now

Oh well. You live and learn. That'll teach me to leave everything till the last minute

Anyone else on the 12.20 from Waterloo to Salisbury?

I'm also a bit worried that there are going to be loads of peeps trying to get on the one and only bus (2.30), which hopefully isn't one of those little hoppa things. If we don't get on that one there's a bit of a wait till the next one.

There's no 2:30 bus! It's Saturdays and school only. I'm considering either a few hours perusing Salisbury, or joining forces with other festival goers and taxiing to site :)

I'm catching that train LisaRocket! :)

It should be hitchable anyway - anyone coming from London will be going through Salisbury so there's ll be plenty of cars going by.

so, just to catch up, Onket, are you unable to come now? :(

Well, I've not actually got a ticket yet, but I've PM'd two people off here who have posted that they have spare ones to get rid of, and I've also been sent some links to ebay auctions (although I'd prefer to avoid those).

I also have offers of a lift. :)

Oh bugger. And there was me thinking i was all organised and everything

Joining forces and getting a taxi sounds good though. I don't want to wait till 5 for the next bus...

Yes there is!

The timetable says SSH sat & school holidays. 2:30, then right next to it, sch, schooldays only. 2:30.
I think you'll find that covers all days except sundays.

So they would run buses at christmas and easter but not in summer?

That would be damn cheeky of them. :D
