A Highlight!

Fucking brilliant band (for wasted drunks :D ) called Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs** (busking outside a stall at Beautiful Days last year) are on the Endorset bill now ...

**Google/My Space em ;)

Buying ticket very very soon ... :)

Hmm.. I see there's a glowing write-up of the talents of Ed Tudor Pole on the efestivals page.

Hopefully catch him at a 'warm up' gig in London. ..;)

or you could come down to Frome at Easter and see him, Pronghorn and the mighty RDF

Mr Flounder, is there any chance of there being some kind of bonfire this year? I realise that having lots of little fires is not a good idea on a dry wheat field, but what about one contained central one? :)

Sorry but its part of the H&S that we aren't allowed any fires. SParks can go up in the air and carry well into the wheat field - its a damn shame but there it is

 So wheres the best place to camp?

I'm off-loading the kiddies hopefully, but my man is a festie and camping virgin, would the family field be best?

Heh, I got me pink fluffy tiara ready:cool:

The site is very cosy and small. You can sit in front of the main stage, feel a bit chilly, go back to the tent get a jumper and be back before the next song starts :)

From what I saw, the family field seemed the noisiest and busiest :D

When did this ever happen back in the day? Fires at festies used to be so part of the thing. Public liability insurance precludes, it's shite.

I agree it's a shame, and was so much part of the old scene; staggering next to a friendly fire and making new freinds, but..
.
It is such a lovley site, and such a thoroughly enjoyable festival, I think we should not give them a hard time for something out of their control.

I just lament the loss of fires at festies full stop not just having a dig at the endorset crew.

I have got tickets for this one as well and am really looking forward to it.:)

Fantastic little alternative friendly live in vehicle friendly hippy punk dready alternative countercultural looonster friendly. But all laid back as hell, good aletastic/cidertastic beer tent, and some fantastic bands that are easily seen and appreciated on small stages and in small tents.

but despite that horrible description ^^ it's really good

Edited  :(

Could I be allowed just a little bit of slack for me being late and drunk on occasion? Ta. In any case, what I posted wasn't so very far out.

In latest news, it's been announced this morning that LEE SCRATCH PERRY is headlining this festival. (May not yet be on the website, but that's definitely the case).

:)

For what it's worth I thought it was a reasonable description. Don't listen to that big bully ;)

I love Lee Scratch Perry, and have seen him a couple of times, but he's actually not that great live imo.

Yeah, I remembered after posting that that people here had been saying recently that he was generally a disappointment life these days ... I last saw him in 1996 and he was as weird as fuck, not that impressive really, but definitely a sight for bewildered eyes .... who knows what he'll be like down at Endorse It!?

I wanna come...have booked the time of work but will need to wait till next payday before I have funds to pay for a ticket. Already purchased WOMAD, Glasto and Workhouse tix which came to a whopping £320.......fingers crossed (though Im sure it will be fine) that tix still left at end of April. :)
