Especally now that news is confirmed** that the Tofu Love Frogs are reforming to perform this festival
**As posted on efestivals by Goff, drummer, only yesterday
News that will delight entire tens of veterans of dodgy little tents and ministages at festivals a few years back

PLI is all part of the real fun side of festival organising and its comply with the rules, or not put the festival on.TopCat said:When did this ever happen back in the day? Fires at festies used to be so part of the thing. Public liability insurance precludes, it's shite.
Sir Belchalot said:They only had their first rehearsal on Monday, must have gone alright if they've booked a festy already (better organised than they used to be!). Saw Goff on Sunday & he thought they'd missed the boat for this year's festies. They're probably up for doing some more if anyone can help arrange it.

Glad you're coming though TC , despite the lack of fires
Its really great to see such a positive response to the festival over here
We haven't done any advertising apart from via the internet and so far tickets are on a very steady flow out. We are however going to start flyering/advertising in the press etc, so if you're wavering ( particularly around bringing any family) please keep this in mind.

I don't know how often they'll rehearse as Ade doesn't live in London. Also, work commitments might get in the way of the further away festies (times have changed since they last played!)
I'll probably see one of them at the weekend to get the lowdown but I'm sure suggestions will be welcome.

Awww its sounds like like glasto 20 years ago, where we would camp on the hill just opposite the pyramid stage, Ahhh those were the dayzzzIdaho said:The site is very cosy and small. You can sit in front of the main stage, feel a bit chilly, go back to the tent get a jumper and be back before the next song starts
From what I saw, the family field seemed the noisiest and busiest

I've now 'officially' booked tickets, too. Did it a few weeks ago but it's gergl's birthday present so couldn't say until today.
No I live in Exeter. I think you can camp in the family field without kids, but I can't see why you would want to. I didn't find the other camping areas to be particularly raucous and always got a reasonable sleep.*Miss Daisy* said:So can i camp in the family field even if i arent bringing me kids.
Hey Idaho - are you from dorset?
