Morsi needs to pull something spectacular out of the hat now
Morsi had the Syrian embassy closed and its ambassador sent home from Cairo thus nailing his colours for all to see to the wealthy gulf states mast who have effectively been financing the MB. and coincidentally the Syrian rebels. Assad may have derived some pleasure from the current developments in Egypt and Morsi's predicament. Why?

Angry crowds broke into the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) headquarters in Assiut and set the building ablaze Monday night after three protesters were killed in Sunday clashes with supporters of President Mohamed Morsi.
Al-Dostour Party in Assiut reported that crowds celebrated torching the building with fireworks and chants.
Protesters had gathered earlier in front of the governorate building where they had planned to stage a sit-in demanding the removal of Governor Yehia Keshk.

Armed Forces' road map following expiration of 48 hours:
* The Armed Forces' draft roadmap would suspend Egypt's constitution and dissolve Islamist-led Parliament.
* Upon its implementation, an interim council would rule Egypt until the constitution is altered to "represent the Egyptian people." Within at least a month after the alterations, Presidential elections would be held (period could be longer and is dependent upon political environment).
* If the deadline expires and President Morsi and the opposition fail to agree to any alternate measures, the roadmap would immediately be implemented. However, the roadmap is subject to the agreement of the opposition movement and other parties.
