Just like thunderbird 5 rama has artificial gravity.I don't think marionettes would work in zero gravity.

The sleeper has awakenedYeah definitely looks like a more intense pace in this one,
This is a good trailer.
Book wankers will recognise some scenes!
(and others might want to avoid watching cos there's some awesome shots that you might want to see for the first time at the cinema)
apparently Villeneuve has already stareted working on a script for Messiah...
Yeah, some terrible dialogue too. Villeneuve probably didn't do most of the writing but he's also not able to recognise good dialogue. The first one got 5 out of 10 from me. I thought it was dull, dull, dull, and I hated the dialogue. Nearly fell asleep at one point.
Too shortChrist, it's 2hr 46m long. Personally I thought the first one was atmospheric and moody, but anyone who doesn't share that view really should wait for that fan edit

Three. Part one and two cover the original Dune novel. Part three would cover Dune Messiah, which really hammers home the "charismatic politico-religious leaders are bad shit" message and neatly wraps up Paul's story. They've already started work on the script, but Villeneuve has said he'd prefer to do something else first, as these films are exhasuting to make. The studio are sure to let him make it given the reception part two is getting.Anyone know how many films are planned btw?
Arrakis or LA?I watched the first one on the plane to LA. Didn't really understand wtf was going on. Some sort of future world set in a desert with giant sand worms from what I remember. It wasn't for me.
