Don't forget Shanaze: yet another gold in the cycling tomorrow by our BIGGEST STAR

Shanaze Reade is hot favourite to win the women's BMX tomorrow. I think it's at 2.45 am. Out of all our boys 'n girls she's probably set to become the biggest star of the lot. That's what I think anyway. Read this http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/olympics/article4565054.ece and her older press cuttings here: http://www.shanazereade.com/ Everything about her is amazing. The closest you'll ever get to Superwoman. She's 19 now, plans to retire from sport at 30 and then be Prime Minister.

Oh, in addition to being best in the world at BMX she had a go on the track as a way to keep fit in winter, then won a world championship after eight weeks. Like you do.

Good point. BBC coverage of women's finals starts 2 am on the 21st. Sorry, got you all excited a day too early.

May have to stay up and watch the seeding runs anyway.

In the meantime there are cycling highlights on the red button thing. Sprints and Madison, which I didn't see. Perhaps I should watch out of respect for Our Cav.

No worries, am sure there's loads of other stuff on tonight in the olympics! ;)

Anyone up?

Liam Philips in 25th after the first round, probably about as expected.

Shanaze up soon, some of the women looking stiff, she'll wipe the floor with em.

Another timed run yet.

No women out until tomorrow.

This is the first BMX event to do time trials, not part of the sport at all.

Would normally be qualification through 3 motos, thats 3 races between a group of 8 riders.

Once there's 8 on the track it will be real BMX, plenty of riders showing that big jump some back wheel in the mens, could be carnage.

Lol. Proof if any were needed that it doesn't suit us Brits to get too cocky.

False modesty please.

Anyway hope she recovers for the next 'un.
