Moore appeared on Cohen’s “Who Is America?” comedy show in 2018 – less than a year after the allegations [of sexual misconduct, including with a 14-year-old] were first made against Moore and he subsequently lost the Senate election to Doug Jones. In the episode, a fictional character portrayed by Cohen submitted an unwitting Moore to a fabricated test to determine if he was a pedophile. On the show, Cohen determined that Moore failed the test.

In finding for Cohen and other defendants, the appeals court agreed with the lower court that Moore’s signing of a release form barred him from bringing the lawsuit.

Not really watched much of Cohen but he's very good in this.

Defending citizens rights to own an ICE powered vehicle. First they came for the 2 stroke.

In 100 years, I wonder what the then-equivalent of us posting up loony 1920s articles about how the Electric Telephone was a harbinger of the End of Days will be...?

In 100 years, much of North Carolina will be underwater. Survivors of the civil war will be living in the woods, buggering the wild pigs. Or possibly the other way round.

This dimwit is trying to pass a law about 'teaching both sides' of the Holocaust and claims it's not about saying Nazis were right (see below) just so 'we should get the perspective of the German soldier'. Uhm, I think trying to understand why ordinary Germans went along with Nazism is already totally in the open and understood to be something we need to discuss and no one's avoiding that or trying to stop it. Lawmaker’s comments about the Holocaust raise concerns

But also clearly, this woman lacks even a basic understanding of the Holocaust:

"What we do not want is for someone to come in and say, 'well, obviously the German government was right in saying that the Aryan race is superior to all other races, and therefore that they were acting rightly when they murdered hundreds of thousands of people for having a different color of skin," the representative said.
Yes, PoC such as Roma were mass murdered too, but I doubt she's talking about them. This is not a way you'd describe the Holocaust unless all you knew about it was 'Some bad people in Germany were racist or something'

I'm sure she's in earnest about not wanting to support the Nazi view, but there's also no need to pass a law so people 'hear the German side' because I think anyone doing a decent job of teaching history or discussing Nazism is already exploring that.

Actually, the news piece concluded rather well; essentially, this kind of shit should be left to educators, and not politicians. It is not a problem to discuss the motivations and aims of regressive groups, but to present their ideas as an equal and valid interpretation against other ideas, is fairly disgusting.

Indeed, though there was this bit in the response to her comments:

"German soldiers, or the Nazis," Pasch clarified. "Would she feel the same way about, like 9/11? Does she want the perspective of the hijackers who flew the planes into buildings? No, because there's moral absolutes, right? And so there aren't two sides to every historical event."

... which I think is nearly as problematic. The perspectives of those who carry out, facilitate or tolerate the most monstrous of crimes really do need to be examined, and doing that doesn't suggest there were two sides to it.

I often have that problem when I say "understand and/or explain" and people hear "excuse" whatever action was involved
it angers me

“I love this guy. Any guy who wears a shirt like that, how can you not love him?” he asked.

“I love this shirt. I want one of those shirts.”

Mr Trump continued to be sidetracked by the outfit choices in the crowd, as he said: “I want this shirt. I’m going to wear it to the next rally.”

“I want it,” he roared, as the crowd cheered him on.

The crowd cheered the pair on before they left the stage again.

But Mr Trump was not yet over the moment and continued shouting: “I want that shirt! I want both of them.”

“Take those shirts off and give ‘em to me right now!” he said.

An truly astonishing interview with.... whoever this smug little toad is. Of course, US viewers will believe everything he says about Johnson's downfall despite the fact every single one is a complete lie way beyond even the horizon of the truth:
