Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered
There's an overwhelming chance of this happening now.

Have football fans overcome the whole anti-LUFC 'dirty, dirty Leeds'?

Some like Leeds because similar to Newcastle they have the pull of a city and loads of supporters all over the country.

I don't know what to think about this at all. In the past week since the international break I've had wildly differing attitudes. Other people telling me it would be very, very bad.

Yes Bielsa had done a minor miracle with this squad. Btw not sure its an overwhelming chance if they dont make top two the playoffs are a minefield.

Let's have them up and see if they go back down again

They have loads of rivals - big clubs like Chelsea, United, Liverpool - plus all the clubs in Yorkshire that aren't Leeds seem to still really dislike them.

For reference they were last in the top flight in 2003-2004, the last time your club, Arsenal, won the league title.

Apparently they have an easier run-in compared to Sheffield United.

Does the Chelsea-Leeds rivalry still matter?

I know. I don't myself like them. But if the make-up of the premiership was dictated by who I like there'd be rather fewer than 20 teams in there.

It's be great. I've been to Elland Road (saw Gary Kelly give a fullback masterclass in a 1-1 draw with a very good Ipswich side) and the atmosphere and ground was fantastic. You only get into the top division on merit but a club with the size of Leeds' support and ground would definitely add to and not detract from the Prem.

Depends on how old you are I suppose. Our newer supporters wouldn't remember the 69/70 Cup Final which started our hatred of Dirty Leeds.
We both spent time in the Second Division later in the 80s too and I remember watching Kerry Dixon destroy Leeds defence at the same time as the Leeds fans destroyed our old wooden scoreboard.

As for now, yes it will be nice to see them up for a season just to see if they can get relegated earlier than their neighbours Huddersfield did.

That's if they get up after that Wigan debacle. Like step says the play offs are a minefield of hitting form at the right time and pure luck.

Two home games for Leeds v 1 for blades. Leeds have to play Villa tho, whereas united's oppo's are all mid-table, or Ipswich. About 50/50 if you ask me.

I'd like both of them and sod Norwich, but that won't happen now. Either of them should win a play off, but they are both excellent at fucking things up, so....

Not to me at the moment tbh but football is so weirdly tribalistic our lot will probably add Leeds to an ever growing list, endless replays of the 1970 cup final etc. It'll be the Man Utd fans who will prob have a live hatred of Leeds.

Nothing against Leeds, I just want Norwich and Sheffield United to get the automatic spots, and for Aston Villa to win the play-offs.

My brother’s a Leeds fan. I think I’ve given him enough stick over the years. Plus will always have memories of Yeboah and his unbelievable goals, including that one against Liverpool. They’re a massive club and should be in the top flight, even though everyone hates them.

Cardiff have large debts to clear and so I'd like us to face Leeds in the prem.

Leeds fans are allows throwing pound coins around at refs, stewards, players etc. and to be honest every little helps at the moment. Scoop up all those quids, wash off the blood and chuck em in the kitty.

I just turned on the Leeds Villa nothingtoplayfor game and there was a goal and a fight followed by Bielsa letting Villa score from the kick off.
