Do I want a Dahon Mu p8 folding bike?

I always worry with those things that I might not unfold it properly and it will collapse when I'm riding it.

Also that I might look ridiculous on it.

I've used a Dahon for years. Decent bikes.

Cycled up Dartmoor on it and - rather foolishly - managed to hit 44mph on the way back.

Here I go!

Here's some reviews of the Mu P8.

Overall, the Dahon Mu P8 is a highly recommended bicycle for urban commuters or even casual bike riders. The Mu P8 is nimble, quick in acceleration, and exhibits impressive speed. Most importantly, it virtually eliminates the theft variable that plagues urban cyclists while still maintaining the fun factor of city bike riding and reduces your carbon footprint.

I have a Dahon. It's OK - build quality I would say is OK, without being great. Some bits and pieces are rather cheap and tend to break (e.g. stand, pedals), but the frame and major mechanicals seem fine.
