I did.

Well, things can't get any worse.
Lib Dem have shown their true colours and have lost all credibility.
The Tories are in but that was a matter of time.

Labour with it's removal of Brown - can only rebuild and improve.
Labour will get stronger from this.

No I voted 'eco-Tory' because I want to sterilize Africans.

No I voted for capitalism's left wing apologists because I'm an anti working class enemy of the 'case for socialism'.

No I voted for an eco-celebrity, because I'm a dimwitted, bo-ho, dope smoking student.

But at least I didn't vote Lib Dem.

Probably in the same place as the Bard of Barking Lord William (Bragg) of Bridport. He who will be knighted by Cameron for services to the Tory party....

My consistutency:

Conservative: 57.5%
Liberal Democrat: 28.7%
Labour: 7.0%
UKIP: 5.1%
Green: 1.6%

Tories win with a majority of 15,653

So yes, I voted Liberal Democrat. And yes, I would do so again tomorrow.

No matter how many times y'all ask the same question, I'll carry on giving the same answer. If both Labour and the Liberals had both won more seats, we actually might not have a bloody Tory government right now. So I'll always vote for the party most likely to beat the Tories in my constituency as long as we continue to have a FPTP system.

No, (as per the link) it's Mole Valley in Surrey. It's the Leatherhead/Dorking/Surrey Hills region. Fucking Tory central.

Our current Tory has been incumbent for about 17 years. Previously it was Kenneth Baker.

As someone who spent many of his formative years in Worthing, I know the feeling. However, here in the alternative citadel that is Brighton Pavilion, the sun is permanently shining and we all ride our bikes to work in sustainable, employee owned and managed enterprise delivering organic veg boxes to each other...happy days.

why should someone have to apologise for voting lib dem?

i voted labour, to keep the tories out in my constituency. in the scottish elections, due to PR, i also vote either lib dem or green.

Closest thing I have to a home constituency, South Staffs, where my Mum lives:

Tories : 53.2%
Labour : 20.3
Lib Dem : 16.7

Majority of 16794. Beat that! :p

voting lib dem does not make you a tory

Well, it kind of does, doesn't it? We now have a Tory government. Besides which, when you look at the Whigs, especially on economics ie the really important bit, they're not far off Tory anyway.

My every sympathy to those who tactically voted Liberal in seats where it was a straight Lib/Tory choice, but for the rest of 'em I have nothing but mockery and disdain.

Voting for anyone other than the Lib Dems in my area, or not voting at all, would have been beneficial to the Tories. In the end they won anyway so my vote counted for bugger all.

Not really sure what Clegg was supposed to do at this point. Support Labour? Might have been better but given the Tories got the most votes it seems a bit dodgy making deals behind closed doors to keep them out of power. I'm hoping the Lib Dems will secure their electoral reform, then abandon ship.

Another Surrey voter here but in a different constituency: Surrey East

Conservative: 56.7%
Liberal Democrat: 25.9%
Labour: 9.0%
UKIP: 6.9%
Monster: 0.8%
Ind: 0.7%

Tories win with a majority of 16,874

A LibDem vote here is the only possible way to unseat a Tory even if it's extremely unlikely under the FPTP system :(

Having said that, I do have a lot of sympathy for some of the LD policies.

I think my majority trumps yours (just) :p

Not true that Clegg and the Whigs had a straight choice between Tory or Labour. They could have not gone for either and allowed the Tories to form a minority government.

i just don't understand - WHY is labour better??? i actually hate new labour almost as much as the tories.
