Sure we've all sent emails in error
I haven't kept track of it, did she dodge the Corbyn anti-semite issues a few years ago? There's quite a famous Jewish population in her constituency, she's certainly advocated for them in the past and I've not heard of her exhibiting a specific lack of care in her term as MP?
Oh god, yes. I’m not in favour of this idea that someone was wrong once 25 years ago so that means they’re a Wrong person and to be disregarded about everything for ever more. I’m glad there was no social media when I was 14.Yeah, but also something we can probably all relate to tbh!
I'm not a journalist but I'd want to check that what I was printing was an accurate reflection of someone's views especially if printing something obviously contentious.I'm not sure it's as obvious as you seem to think - and besides, it's surely the responsibility of the author to check the content, not the Observer.
This, however Abbott's letter is staggeringly stupid. She's certainly prone to clunky and foolish behaviour, this email included. But I'm extremely suspicious of the sheer level of spite that's flung her way given the rest of the shower of shite that makes up the modern party. She does at least seem to care just a little bit about people in actual need. I mean the shadow work and pensions secretary, on the same day she's been suspended for this, was busily disinterring the old terrorist migrants line.
Shouldn't any third party perks now switch from the Lib Dems to this rag bag?She has lost the party whip so I can update this list of independent MPs, none of whom were elected as such.

to say e.g. that the holocaust wasn't racist against jews is just to redefine words into nothingness. maybe we should redefine everything, and "social democracy" just means "nazi salutes"
No kiddingOops Diane, that's quite the fuck up.

She put racism in the wrong place. And who hasn’t been racist in their first draft after all? “Oh, bugger, did I click send before not being racist?”If that was her first draft , it does make you wonder how/why she was going to do a u turn in her second draft.
She hasn't just put an apostrophe in the wrong place.
I thought it was clumsily put.I think it very much merits suspension. It’s a racist letter expressing racist ideas. Can she learn and grow from this? Let’s hope so.
Maybe because their was not a second draft?I'm baffled by why a second email seemingly wasn't sent to recall the first or to amend it, which has always been what I've done when sending something that shouldn't have been sent
Yeh well she could have said sent in error, please deleteMaybe because their was not a second draft?
