Cornwall Recommendations

Uncommon enough to be worth mentioning "ooh I saw an adder the other day"; common enough that most people I know here have seen at least one. I've seen about 8, whereas I've only ever seen two hedgehogs.
The weavers are real though and got a few people I know in Treen

Off topic - but a good number of them in Wales , especially around the Gower and Pembroke. Always clear off quickly - or the ones I have come across !

OMG, I just had to share! From midday today, at Lemon Quay, Truro, the one, the only SARGON of AKKAD!

I'm hoping for something akin to a bear-baiting, without the cruelty to bears. Or dogs.

I am going down to Cornwall next week Monday to Friday.

We lost our cat yesterday ( :( ), so just needed some time away from home, and managed to find somewhere extremely cheap through a work friend.

We're staying in Padstow, but have car, will travel, hopefully all the way out west. Hoping to see plenty of coastline, and eat plenty of food. Have read through lots of the recommendations already, but appreciate it's nearly school holidays, so might be busy.

Godrevy. Lovely beaches, rocks and lighthouse.
Falmouth and Fowey. Great at this time of year.
Bodmin Moor.

So sorry about Milo. If you can, go to a performance at the Minack Theatre. You'll feel your spirits soar at the cliff edge, and as the sun sets you can say your farewells. It's a place where the sun meets the sky, and the next day starts anew.

Cornwall is not that big so further west The Lizard and St Michael's Mount are lovely places to visit. Just pray it doesn't rain because it rains a lot down there.

I wish they would stop doing those bloody "secret/local beaches" things. Few of our favourite spots are now so bad during the summer people living there are having genuine issues actually getting on with life because of people packing the place so badly it spills all over the whole village/entrance roads with cars left all over. Considering the huge amount of illegal parking I am surprised they don't have traffic wardens at some of them as they would make a bloody fortune every day. Alternative to the tourist tax type suggestions and just hits the people doing twatty parking.
