Cocktails that Chris Morris and Nathan Barley would approve of:

Fuck that.

Did you know straight glasses make you drink slower than curved glasses?

By getting people used to dimpled glasses pubs were effectively using phycology to make you spend more money.

If anyone can tell me the name of the song playing
in the above Get Carter clip, I'd be most grateful.

Is "phycology" pronounced fickology, or fuckology? And what the fuck is it, or am I being fick?

I didn't, no. I'd be quite interested to know how/why - you got any links?

Feels right

Only so long as the contents do also.

I love a quality ;) pint in a tankard-handled pint glass, those glasses don't necessarily have to be dimpled either.

Fuck knows where people get this 'You have to be Northern or Hipster for those poncy glasses' thing comes from. They've been revived of late true, but those handled glases are a revived tradtition**.

Sadly now imported from China, I believe, rather from up North ... :(

**Revived from the times when those glasses became impossible to find because shit-lager drinkers refused them ;)

On the rare (now) occasion I drink lager ,it has to be in a straight glass , feels wrong in a jug .

Well with lager you have this clean clear golden liquid with sparkly bubbles. This is considered attractive and being able to see it makes the drink more appetising and tastier due to that appetite effect.

Unlike real ale where you are better off not seeing what is floating in your drink. Earwigs and stuff. Whatever that nasty stuff is made from.
